Prayer Table @ BD Pride

After last year’s Pride event in Beaver Dam, the loudest voices weren’t always the most loving ones. Many people — especially those who claim to follow Jesus — were quick to speak out in anger, but few stepped in with compassion.

AT BDMC

We believe in the truth of Scripture — that sin separates us from God, and that we all fall short in different ways. Whether it’s pride, lust, lying, disobedience, or rebellion — we’ve all missed the mark. But we also believe this: God’s love is for everyone, and repentance is for all who are willing.

This year, we won’t be shouting from a distance. We’ll be walking among the people — setting up a small prayer station (maybe even from the back of a truck), ready to listen, pray, and point anyone willing toward the love of Jesus. Some people may be hurting. Some may be curious. Some may be resistant. We’re not going to argue — we’re going to pray.

We won’t hide the truth — but we also won’t withhold love.

Scripture Anchor:

Woe to them, for they have strayed from Me! Destruction to them, for they have rebelled against Me! I would redeem them, but they speak lies against Me.
Hosea 7:13

Why does your teacher eat with tax collectors and sinners?” On hearing this, Jesus said, ‘It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick.
Matthew 9:11–12
