Leaning on God
As we step into 2026, the Beaver Dam Mission Center continues to lean fully on God—sharing the good news of Jesus while walking alongside people in moments of real crisis. This post reflects on where we’ve been, what God is teaching us, and why obedience, prayer, and loving like Jesus must remain at the center of everything we do.
Still Here, Still Serving.
As we close out 2025, this reflection looks back on a year of gospel-centered obedience, faith lived out through action, and what it truly means to serve Jesus beyond the four walls. This is not a report of accomplishments, but a call to abide in Christ, walk in obedience, and live out the gospel together as the body of believers in our city.
You Are Loved…
As November unfolds, we reflect on what it means to love like Jesus in real and tangible ways. This post shares what God has been teaching us through Scripture, stories from the field, and the heart behind our Thanksgiving outreach—serving not just physical needs, but pointing people to the hope found in Christ.
On Fire for the Mission
As the weather turns cold, BDMC is stepping out in faith—serving the homeless, helping families, and sharing real stories of hope across Beaver Dam. See how God is moving through volunteers, prayer, and action this month.
Where We’re Going.
The September update for the BDMC blog features a recap of where we have been in the last several months and a look ahead to what we are praying for, what we are hoping for and where we see God leading us. Join us in prayer for the people of Beaver Dam and surrounding communities.
August Update
What if living out our faith looked like more than just Sunday morning? At BDMC, we’re learning that real obedience means serving the poor, reaching the overlooked, and being radically different—because God is holy, and He’s called us to be holy too. We’re not a program. We’re a movement of people who want to live like Jesus—loud and bold.
Make Every Effort
Shoe drive 2025 is deep into fundraising and the doors are almost open for families to start registering. After several months we have raised nearly 70% of our goal. Hear about the journey and testimony that led to the start of the BDMC, the shoe drive as well as an update on where things are at now.
60 Days with the Homeless
For sixty days, my family spent time with three different homeless families. The journey we undertook and the lessons learned will fuel our continued service to the community. Beaver Dam Mission Center is focused on sharing the gospel message right here in Beaver Dam. Helping those in moments of personal crisis, from food insecurities to housing to resources. Join the kingdom work, as John says in 1 John 3:18 - Let us not love with words and speech but with actions and in truth.
Step by Step
It’s more than just about shoes, it’s about what happens when the church of Jesus shoes up. Learn about the Beaver Dam Mission Centers latest event coming August 2025 to feet near you!
For By Grace.
Grace on the Streets
There’s something about the grace of Jesus that still stops me in my tracks. Grace means undeserved favor—and it shows up in the most unexpected places.
At Beaver Dam Mission Center, I’ve met people who have lived decades without stability—people whose stories are full of trauma, survival, and resilience. And yet, when we sit down and talk, I feel God closer than ever. These aren’t charity cases—they’re family. They remind me who Jesus prioritized: the hurting, the outcast, the overlooked.
Grace covers us all. So look past the sin. Look past the shame. Show up. Listen. Love boldly.
Our Hearts BURNED
Have you ever felt your heart burn while reading Scripture? Like something deeper was stirring inside you? This week, I reflect on the Road to Emmaus, that burning feeling, and how God is calling us to live it out — right here in Beaver Dam.
This Isn’t About Us — It’s About Jesus
It’s time that I start living what I believe versus just saying it. That’s where the Beaver Dam Mission Center comes in.
