Who Is Eligible?
WHY WE DO THIS!
Every child deserves to walk into school with dignity. For many families, back-to-school shopping is stressful, and shoes can be one of the biggest burdens.
At Beaver Dam Mission Center, we believe Jesus calls us to love in action, not just in words (1 John 3:18). That’s why our Kids’ Shoe Program provides brand-new shoes, socks, and a Bible to children in need across Dodge County.
Our Mission in Action
157 kids received shoes, socks, and Bibles at our first Shoe Giveaway event in August 2025!
We’ve raised and purchased 218 pairs of shoes so far — and we’re still going.
Families leave not only with shoes, but also with prayer, encouragement, and the reminder that Jesus loves them.
Picture from our August 2025 shoe event, where we gave away 157 brand-new pairs of shoes to kids. Dean from Sleep in Heavenly Peace was there to sign up families (they offer free beds with no questions asked to families in Beaver Dam) speaking with our volunteer, Jerry.
A Note to Schools & Organizations
We believe schools and community organizations are on the frontlines of seeing kids in need. If you are a school counselor, teacher, or leader who knows a child who could use help, please reach out.
📞 Call 920-212-1335 and press 2 to speak with Kim, our Shoe Program Director, about getting resources for shoes or winter boots. OR email us @ info@missionbd.org in the button below!
Together, we can make sure no child in Dodge County goes without proper shoes for school, recess, or Wisconsin’s cold winters.
Meet Kim
Shoe Program Director
Kim leads our Shoe Program with a heart full of compassion. She is a proud mother of three adult children and grandmother to many. Her love for families and children stems from years of experience serving as Director of Transitions — a local program that provided clothing and household items to individuals starting over after hardships such as single parenthood, incarceration, or crisis as well as her deep love for Jesus!
Kim’s vision is simple: “Every child should feel loved, valued, and ready to take their next step. A new pair of shoes can carry them further than we think.”
