We have decided this year instead of taking donations of shoes we would partner with a local business. Shoe sensations has generously agreed to partner with us offering free socks and a 10% discount for this event to make our $50 per student/child go even further.

HOW IT WORKS!
✅ Step 1: Sponsor a Child
For just $50, you provide a brand-new pair of shoes for a school-aged child in Beaver Dam — along with a Bible and a message of hope.
✅ Step 2: Family Registration Opens July 28Th 2025
We’ll work with local churches, schools, and organizations to identify families in need. Priority will go to those on free/reduced lunch programs and others facing financial hardship.
✅ Step 3: Giveaway Day – August 16th 2025
Families will receive a voucher to pick out shoes at Shoe Sensation here in Beaver Dam via our registration table. A free Bible will be offered at the registration booth. Parents must be present. Our volunteers will be there to pray, serve, and encourage.
Every child will receive a brand new pair of shoes upto $50. Shoe Sensation is offer 10% off in addition to all kids shoes! A free pair of socks, a bible and a message of love and hope for the family.
100% of your donation goes to a new pair of shoes
Your name or organization will be printed on the back of a child’s voucher —
“This pair of shoes donated through grace, by [Your Name].”

Every $50 sponsors one child with a brand-new pair of shoes and a Bible. You can give any amount — every dollar helps.

100% of donations to this project go directly toward purchasing shoes for local kids. BDMC covers all event and marketing costs separately.

School-aged children (K–12) in Beaver Dam and nearby communities — identified through schools, local churches, and trusted nonprofit partners.

Phase 2 begins July 28 2025. Families can register through a private process online or in person at local distribution points. We also partner discreetly with churches and local orgs.

Yes! Every sponsor can be acknowledged on the back of the voucher if they wish, with a line like:
“This pair of shoes donated through grace, by [Your Name / Church Name].”

If we exceed our goal, we’ll continue finding families in need after the August 16th, 2025 event. If we fall short, we’ll prioritize the most at-risk families first.

Beaver Dam Mission Center is a faith-based nonprofit organization and has submitted its 501(c)(3) application to the IRS as of April 2025. While we await final approval, donations may be considered tax-deductible retroactively once our status is confirmed.
We will provide receipts for all donations, and we’ll notify donors as soon as our tax-exempt status is finalized.
