Where We’re Going.

It started with a few homeless kits and a calling.

Back in the fall of 2024, my wife and I stepped into this work with a simple mission: to love God, love others, and live out the gospel in action right here in Dodge County. What began as handing out kits and praying with people on the streets has now grown into something we never could’ve scripted. And yet, God’s fingerprints are all over it.

Today, Beaver Dam Mission Center is a fully recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit. We’ve served hundreds, prayed with countless individuals, and launched programs that meet real needs—from shoes and school supplies to Bibles and transportation.

God's Surprises Along the Way

We set a goal for 200 kids to get shoes this summer. We ended up raising enough for 218.
We thought we’d serve on the streets, and God brought people into our home.
We planned for a few volunteers. Today, 27 people serve beside us, including a board of 11 committed believers.

God keeps showing up, often in the margins, and always for His glory.

The Fruit We’re Seeing

One child took home a Bible and told us how excited they were to read it and learn about Jesus.
A mother of four, grieving the loss of her children's father, found support and encouragement through new shoes.
A multi-amputee shared how meaningful it was to receive clean clothes and fresh sheets for his new apartment.

Every story points back to Jesus.

Challenges We’ve Faced

Not everyone understands what we’re doing—and that’s okay.
We’ve had doubters. Even people close to us have questioned our priorities.
Some churches have turned us away. Others have embraced and supported us fully.
The enemy loves to whisper, “Why even bother?” But God keeps reminding us of our call.

Our response? Stay grounded in scripture. Spend time with Jesus. Keep going.

What’s Next

  • We're finalizing our program offerings and young adult ministry.

  • We’re praying boldly for a permanent facility—one that could house emergency apartments, day services for the homeless, and serve as a headquarters for discipleship, study, and service.

  • We’re applying for grants, starting conversations, and yes—still handing out Bibles, still giving out shoes, still meeting needs.

My wife and I are even willing to sell our home to help make this vision a reality. That’s how much we believe in what God is doing here.

Final Thought

We’re not a show. We’re not a brand.
We are simply people trying to live like Jesus told us to live.

If you’ve been watching from a distance, wondering if we’re the real deal—I get it. The church has hurt people. Ministries fail. Hype fades.

But this isn't hype. It’s the hands and feet of Jesus—still dirty, still tired, still serving. And we’re in this for the long haul.

Ephesians 3:20 — “Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine…”

We are just getting started.
