About the Program

Meeting needs. Sharing hope. Loving like Jesus.

This Thanksgiving, BDMC is preparing meal boxes with groceries, encouragement, and a grocery gift card for local families. Each box includes about a week’s worth of food, a bible and a personal note reminding every family that they’re seen, loved, and not alone.

We know many organizations are helping this season — our heart is simply to fill the gaps and serve those who need it most.

Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Therefore, as we have the opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers. Galatians 6:9-10

HOW IT WORKS…

Step 1: Sign Up or Refer a Family

Families in need can complete the short form below or contact BDMC directly.

Step 2: Community Donations

Local grocery partners and community members donate nonperishable food or gift cards.

Beaver Dam - Edgewood Community Church Lobby

Step 3: Delivery & Prayer

Our volunteers deliver boxes on Monday, November 24th, along with prayer and encouragement.

Download one or more of our coloring sheet options from the link below, or pick up at Humanity Beaver Dam, and get a FREE pack of crayons with your coloring sheet (crayons while supplies last)
Color your sheet at home using crayons, markers, or colored pencils.
Write your child’s first name, and parent or guardian’s full name, phone number, and email on the bottom of the page.
Drop off your completed coloring sheet at any of these community locations OR upload on this page!

Contest Details

Deadline to Enter: Friday, November 21, 2025
Judging: All entries will be reviewed by a neutral third party. Bonus for creativity and fully completed sheets!
Age: 4-15
Winners Announced: Week of Thanksgiving (Nov 24–28)
- Two winners will be announced each day on BDMC’s Facebook and Instagram pages. LIKE US ON FACEBOOK
Prizes: Top Ten (10) winners will each receive a $100 grocery gift card to help their families this holiday season.

Additional Information
- One entry per child; multiple children may enter per household. Each household may win one prize total.
- Winning entries will be displayed online and may be shared publicly with first names only.
- No purchase necessary; entry is free.
- By submitting an entry, parents or guardians permit BDMC to share their child’s artwork and first name on BDMC’s social media or website.
- Gift card funding is provided by private funders. You do not need to be a Christian or attend a Sunday gathering to enter.
